課程概述 |
This course will offer lectures on the major texts of the New Testament, which are: the four gospels, Acts, the major letters of Paul (Romans, 1 Corinthians, Philippians, 1 Thessalonians), and Revelation. The major issues covered will be: What is the NT view of life and salvation? What are the main features of the New Testament tradition? Who is Jesus Christ? What is resurrection? What is the view of history presented by the New Testament? What is the relation between the two Testaments? |

課程目標 |
The purpose of this course is to give the students an overview of the New Testament tradition, to let them explore the tradition's huge influence on Western culture, and to ponder the issues about life raised by the tradition. |
